Stripes + Simplicity

Top + Country Road Skirt + General Pants  Shoes + Windsor Smith

Oh My Goodness! It has been so long since I have uploaded a blog post (sorry). Last week I went away with my family and some friends, to our holiday house in Eildon. Like always, it was a blast and I got some lovely photos. I love going up to Eildon, everything there is so simple and easy going. It's a great escape from the real world and I can really get my thoughts together.

Unfortunately holidays are coming to an end. Which really makes me stop and ask myself 'where has the past 8 weeks gone?' But don't get me wrong, I am also super excited to go back to school and catch up with all of my class mates again. I hope you are getting ready for a new school year, and that you had the most amazing summer ever!

My Top Three Necklaces

I guess you could say I’m a little bit obsessed with necklaces. I have a collection hanging in my room that is constantly growing! But I love necklaces so much, they just add that something extra to your outfit to make it perfect. Deciding which three I would classify as my favourites was definitely a challenge. But I have done it! I have chosen from my bold collection of loved (and overly worn) necklaces, my three best.

#1 // Emeldo Necklace

My Emeldo necklace would have to be my favourite. I purchased this rope design necklace to go with my school social dress last year. You can get necklaces like mine online or you can find them in little boutiques. Although I got this necklace for more of a formal occasion, I do love to dress it down and wear it on an average day. There is just something about this necklace that makes me feel gorgeous when I wear it. Most Emeldo necklaces (including mine) cost $40 and they are worth every dollar. I would, with out a doubt, recommend an Emeldo necklace to absolutely anyone.

#2// JARR Designs Necklace

I got this JARR necklace from the Mornington Racecourse Market, but they can be found at many other markets or online. I love this necklace so much because it is neutral and different from most of my others. It is also such a practical necklace and it goes with almost anything. Although it is a very plain necklace, having the wood mixed with the white makes it very pretty and I do get compliments on it. This JARR necklaces was only $25, so it was much more affordable than my Emeldo and I probably get more wear out of it!

#3// Mad Stitches Necklace

For my third and final necklace, I have chosen one of my Mad Stitches necklaces. Mad Stitches is actually my Aunties brand and, I know it may sound biased, but I am in love with her designs. She mainly just sells her jewelry at markets in Victoria, but she also has a website. Mad Stitches also has a Facebook page if you would like to check her designs out, trust me it’s worth it! I love this necklace because it’s so colourful and easily brightens up my outfits, it is also easy to pair with outfits and is just gorgeous. This Mad Stitches necklace is different from any other necklaces I have seen, and I love that about it. Necklaces like this cost $35 and they are definitely good value for money.
