Bricks 'n' Florals

Top + Quirky Circus
Shorts + Quirky Circus
Shoes + Pavement
Necklace + Page 8

So Summer is officially over, which in a way makes me sad, but it also makes me feel super excited because I just LOVE Autumn! I thought it would be a great way to kick start the month of March with these amazing shorts from Quirky Circus! Even though in this post I am obviously dressed for the warmer weather, these shorts could easily be worn with a gorgeous knit when the weather cools down.

On another note, I'm sorry that I haven't been that active lately. I have been feeling really unmotivated and after I accidentally deleted all of my photos (AGHHHH) I felt even worse. But I am back now and I feel as though I am more in the swing of things! (YAY)
Hopefully you will see more of me soon:)

Colourful Boxes

Dress + Billabong Bathers + Tigerlily

I love so many things about the beach. I love the sand, the waves and the beachy curls the water gives my hair, but most of all I love the beach boxes. My eyes are just drawn to all of the vibrant colours, and I feel the beach simply wouldn't be the same without them. So I have put together a little blogpost with some photos of these beautiful beach boxes!

Q&A

Hello Everyone
Long time- no chat! Last week I asked you guys on Instagram to ask me questions, for me to answer on my blog. You guys were so kind and asked my heaps! I thought I would pick 20 of them to answer for you all::

Q1/ How long have I been blogging for?
I haven’t been blogging for that long. I first started my blog on the 5th of November 2014.

Q2/ Why did I start blogging?
I had really wanted to start a blog for almost all of 2014. It wasn't until my friend Estella started her blog, I was inspired to start my own.

Q3/ Where do I find inspiration?
I find inspiration from almost anywhere. I love to scroll through peoples Instagram feeds and get inspo from them. Or even going to places like the city, markets, festivals, exhibitions and things like that.

Q5/ What is my favourite item of clothing in my wardrobe?
My absolute favourite item in my wardrobe would have to be my polka dot raincoat from Gorman!

Q6/ What inspired me to start my blog?
I don't know to be honest; it was just something I had wanted to do for a while. And as I said before, my friend started one, so that really inspired me to give it a go as well.

Q7/ How do I maintain motivated?
When it comes to Instagram and blogging, I don't really need anything to keep me motivated. I just love doing it so much and I find it takes up so much of my time.

Q8/ What has been my best experience?
The best experience of my life so far, would have to be last year when I went on a school camp to India. It was just so amazing and I got to see and do things that not many other people can. I also got to see how privileged we all are to have what we have! (Sorry I know, cheesy)

Q9/ What are my goals for my blog?
I don't really have too many goals for my blog. It is just something that I do for fun and I know I will enjoy it whether I have 10 followers or 10 000 followers! I would really like to make YouTube videos for my blog, which would be really fun.

Q10 What are my goals for the future?
My goals for the future would have to be to finally become an organised person. Even now, I am writing this blog post sure that I have done all of my homework. But when I get to school tomorrow, I know my teacher will ask me to hand in homework that I didn't even know what set!

Q11/ Who is my inspiration?
My biggest inspiration would definitely have to be BeyoncĂ©! I think she is such an inspiration because she has had so many setbacks in her life, but she has pushed through them and is now one of the most powerful women of all time. Other people who inspirer me, would have to be my friends and family. They just do little things every day that inspirer me to be a better me.

Q12/ What camera do I use?
For my Instagram photos I use my iPhone 5, and for my blog I use a Panasonic Lumix.

Q13/ What do I want to achieve the most?
I really want to get better at time management. I feel like I spend all of my time doing maths h/w and leave none for English. Or I write a blog post and not get time to clean my room.

Q14/ What is my favourite magazine?
I love so many magazines; Yen, Frankie and Hooray would have to be my top 3.

Q15/ What is my biggest accomplishment in my life so far?
In year 6 I was school captain! But other than that, I think just little everyday accomplishments are what count. I love doing little things like finishing that run or getting a good score on a maths test.

Q16/ What do I want to be when I’m older?
I have no idea what I want to be when I'm older. I really like photography, so maybe that. But I think that I will just do things that I like and see where it takes me.

Q17/ What is my favourite food, animal and shop?
FOOD:: Mexican, raspberries, salad, chocolate, sushi, ice-cream and fro-yo
ANIMAL:: Dolphins, koalas, penguins and puppies.
SHOP:: Lush, Country Road, Gorman, Kikki. K and General Pants Co.

Q18/ Who are my favourite bloggers?
Zoella would have to be my overall queen of blogging! I also really like Brooke Reid, MissZali, FreshlyPickked, Hello_Estella and everyone who comes up on my feed. I love all of the different styles of blogs.

Q19/ What is my favourite Lush product?
I love all of their bath bombs, I couldn't choose a favourite out of them. I also really like charity pot. It is a moisturiser that is so amazing and smells delicious.

Q20/ What is my favourite takeout?
Pizza J

Thank you for asking me such wonderful questions!!
See you soon

Seasoned Polyvore

So I have actually written this article for Faux Magazine. (I know, How exciting!) But I thought that I would share it with you guys as well. I made these little sets with Polyvore, which was fairly new to me considering I hadn't used it much before. After making them, I fell in love with Polyvore! For those of you who don't know, Polyvore is a social website where you can create fashion, beauty or home wear sets and share them with the world. I will certainly be using it a lot more, if you have an account, be sure to follow me! Enough with the blabbering, lets get into it…

SIMPLE SUMMER
I am completely in love with this outfit! This look would be perfect for strolling around the street on a summer’s day, or shamelessly shopping-till-your-dropping in the city. Although it is simple, it still looks very put together and complete. There isn’t anything that I would change about this outfit. I wish that it were sitting in my wardrobe right now!

WINTER WONDERLAND
I think the main reason I love this outfit is because it includes one of my absolute favourite brands, Gorman! I think this outfit would be perfect for going on lunch or coffee dates in the cold winter months. I love this dress because it can be dressed up or down. Seeing outfits like this make me so excited for winter!

Hope you enjoyed this fashion post!!

Stripes + Simplicity

Top + Country Road Skirt + General Pants  Shoes + Windsor Smith

Oh My Goodness! It has been so long since I have uploaded a blog post (sorry). Last week I went away with my family and some friends, to our holiday house in Eildon. Like always, it was a blast and I got some lovely photos. I love going up to Eildon, everything there is so simple and easy going. It's a great escape from the real world and I can really get my thoughts together.

Unfortunately holidays are coming to an end. Which really makes me stop and ask myself 'where has the past 8 weeks gone?' But don't get me wrong, I am also super excited to go back to school and catch up with all of my class mates again. I hope you are getting ready for a new school year, and that you had the most amazing summer ever!

My Top Three Necklaces

I guess you could say I’m a little bit obsessed with necklaces. I have a collection hanging in my room that is constantly growing! But I love necklaces so much, they just add that something extra to your outfit to make it perfect. Deciding which three I would classify as my favourites was definitely a challenge. But I have done it! I have chosen from my bold collection of loved (and overly worn) necklaces, my three best.

#1 // Emeldo Necklace

My Emeldo necklace would have to be my favourite. I purchased this rope design necklace to go with my school social dress last year. You can get necklaces like mine online or you can find them in little boutiques. Although I got this necklace for more of a formal occasion, I do love to dress it down and wear it on an average day. There is just something about this necklace that makes me feel gorgeous when I wear it. Most Emeldo necklaces (including mine) cost $40 and they are worth every dollar. I would, with out a doubt, recommend an Emeldo necklace to absolutely anyone.

#2// JARR Designs Necklace

I got this JARR necklace from the Mornington Racecourse Market, but they can be found at many other markets or online. I love this necklace so much because it is neutral and different from most of my others. It is also such a practical necklace and it goes with almost anything. Although it is a very plain necklace, having the wood mixed with the white makes it very pretty and I do get compliments on it. This JARR necklaces was only $25, so it was much more affordable than my Emeldo and I probably get more wear out of it!

#3// Mad Stitches Necklace

For my third and final necklace, I have chosen one of my Mad Stitches necklaces. Mad Stitches is actually my Aunties brand and, I know it may sound biased, but I am in love with her designs. She mainly just sells her jewelry at markets in Victoria, but she also has a website. Mad Stitches also has a Facebook page if you would like to check her designs out, trust me it’s worth it! I love this necklace because it’s so colourful and easily brightens up my outfits, it is also easy to pair with outfits and is just gorgeous. This Mad Stitches necklace is different from any other necklaces I have seen, and I love that about it. Necklaces like this cost $35 and they are definitely good value for money.
